What is your primary product or service?
We provide pet sitting, dog walking, kitty care, pet taxi, overnight service and much more!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been a huge animal lover all my life! I have 3 dogs and they are so spoiled! I would have more, but the house isn't big enough; so, I decided caring for other peoples pets would help me to spread the love around!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We provide top notch, reliable pet care to all of our customers. We are dedicated to keeping all the pets happy and all the customers homes secure. We truly strive to become a member of the family and we love our customers pets as if they were our own.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are currently providing service in Savannah and surrounding areas.

Our customers do not come to us, we visit the pets in their own homes, so our location is just office space. Of course, if our customers want to come by to say hello, we are always happy to see them!
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, checks, money orders and cash.
Which areas do you service?
At Home Pet Sitters visits pets in all of Savannah, the islands, except for Tybee, the Landings, Southbridge, Southside, Downtown, Midtown, Georgetown and all other surrounding areas.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Cathi Denham is the owner of At Home Pet Sitters and she is very involved in not only the pet care, but she runs the entire business side also. She has two office assistants and there are currently 6 sitters employed in the Savannah area. At Home Pet Sitters does not use independent contractors because Cathi likes to be in total control as far as how jobs are performed and all other aspects of the pet care being provided. This is not allowed when contractors are used and Cathi is not willing to provide less than the best pet care, therefore, she must be the one making the rules that the sitters are required to follow. Also, there is an extensive training manual that was written by Cathi and every sitter employed by At Home Pet Sitters is required to complete the training and the Accreditation course endorsed by Pet Sitters International.
What are your hours of operation?
Our office is open from 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm Monday thru Friday. Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 7pm. We do pet sitting and dog walking from 8am thru 8pm and early visits and late night visits are available for an additional charge.
